Wishing Our Famous Parenting Community A Happy New Year
I think it is safe to say that many of us will be happily saying goodbye to 2020. We will be wishing for a happy new year and giving 2021 a much needed big hug!
This year has been one that many of us will want to but not be able to forget. It has been filled with fear, disconnection, uncertainty and anger.
However, I am stopping the negativity just there as the year has also brought with it many amazing lessons and positives. It would be unhealthy to just let the negatives have the lime light. We have some terrific lessons people have taken from 2020.
New years day tends to be a refreshing welcome in many of our lives. It is a time to reflect on the year that was and get excited for the year to come.
Many sit down and write our New Years Resolutions or make big plans for what this year will be. But, if we have learnt anything from 2020 it is that life can be unexpected and sometimes it is best to just be in the moment.
This New Years Day, take a minute to sit in gratitude. Find a nice place outside in nature whether that be on a hill, in the forest, next to a waterfall or in the snow and just BE for a few minutes.
Nature has this amazing ability to calm and remind us of the simplicity and complexity of life in the same moment but in a beautiful way. I think that’s what we all need right now.
2021 can only be bright after what has been a dark year and we look forward to bringing some light into your lives. We have spent more time as a family than ever before with working from home and home schooling. So, the importance of parenting skills and family as a whole is on a lot of peoples’ minds.
Here at famous parenting, we want to bring positive parenting advice and stories to you in 2021. In fact, our goal is to not only reach more families but grow as a communtiy.
We can’t wait for the year that will be. Our team hope that 2021 is filled with family, love and a whole lot of brightness for you and your family!
Happy New Year – from our family to yours!!
My name is Andrea Thompson and I’m a home based freelance writer. I’m 23 years old, married to my best friend, and mother to a wonderfully independent and opinionated 3 year old girl and step-mother to a sweet seven year old boy. I live in a tiny, little town in Kentucky, where I spend my free time fishing with my kids.
Writing has always been my passion, which I followed through high school, and for a while in college. Life happened, and once I discovered we were pregnant, I switched directions; opting for the healthcare industry because of the stability.
Finally, years later, I was in a place where I could leave the day job that never truly made me happy, and pursue my dreams. I’ve built, and am still building, my writing career from scratch. But, I’m passionate and I’m good at what I do. And, in the end, I can prove to my daughter that she can do anything she wants with this life.
